Senior Database Administrator is part of a diverse and dynamic team who applies seasoned knowledge to
deliver designs for complex, multi-tier, and cross platform IT infrastructure environments. In this
strategical role, the Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible to oversee the maintenance and
performance of our organization's database systems. The DBA will be responsible for ensuring that
our databases are secure, efficient, and up-to-date to meet the needs of the organization. The DBA
will collaborate with business leaders, developers, platform engineers, and operational support
teams to provide high level support and continuous functional for Data Base infrastructure
Technology stack
- PostgreSQL 14 and later (obligatorily)
- MS SQL 19 and later or Oracle RDBMS 12 and later
- MS Windows Server 2019 and later

Responsibilities:
- Design, install and maintain database systems
- Create and maintain documentation
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues
- Develop and implement backup and recovery procedures
- Ensure database security and data integrity
- Respond to user data access and performance requests
- Develop and maintain database standards and best practices
- Configure database infrastructure for optimal performance
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement new database features and functionalities
- Educate the business representatives, engineering teams, build, and support teams on standards, processes, and tools.
- Drive client satisfaction by identifying and developing process improvement and automation initiatives while ensuring compliance of solutions to operations roadmap.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
- Support compliance to applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and
- business practices.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator or related position
- Experience with database infrastructure and management tools (e.g. PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
- Experience with backup and recovery procedures
- Knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery solutions
- Experience providing technical leadership in the design of highly complex systems across on-premises, 3rd party hosted, and Public Cloud platforms.
- Proficiency with various UNIX/Linux and Windows OS, and the underlying infrastructure they can run on.
- Experience with performance modeling, capacity analysis, and capacity planning.
