We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our team and help build a Fintech product. The app integrates seamlessly with our backend systems and provides users with secure and efficient payment solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
● Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for web, mobile, and API applications.
● Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
● Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
● Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure thorough testing coverage.
● Execute manual tests across different platforms, including web browsers and mobile devices (iOS and Android).
● Validate REST API endpoints using tools like Postman.
● Ensure compliance with industry standards, including PCI DSS for secure payment processing.
● Test mobile-specific features such as push notifications, biometric authentication, and device compatibility.
● Provide feedback on user experience and design inconsistencies.
● Contribute to continuous process improvement in testing methodologies and tools.
● Participate in project planning, providing technical insights and estimates to ensure timely and on-budget delivery of the project.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. ● At least 2 years of experience in manual testing of web, mobile, and API applications.
● Experience in creating and executing detailed test plans and cases.
● Hands-on experience with tools like Postman, including creating test requests and validating API responses.
● Experience testing mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms, including device compatibility and mobile-specific features.
● Familiarity with cross-browser testing tools like BrowserStack or manual testing on multiple browsers.
● Strong understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies.
● Experience with RTL support.
● Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively.
● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Additional Requirements:
● English B1, B2.
● Experience working in a service outsourcing company is highly preferred.
● Previous experience in the Fintech domain, especially with payment systems or digital wallets. (big advantage).
● Familiarity with secure coding practices and knowledge of compliance standards like PCI DSS
