We are a privately owned and funded algorithmic trading firm focusing on high-frequency trading for more than 15 years. Our HQ is in Amsterdam, also we have representative offices in Cyprus, Singapore. Our core team is an array of highly successful professionals who are winners, awardees, and medalists of various competitions in their respective fields. The company has a flat structure, and we always encourage open discussions and taking responsibility.

We are looking for a Help Desk Specialist who will work in Amsterdam’s office with approximately 100 workplaces.

What you will be doing:

  • Receiving and processing incoming requests, providing consultation and support to office employees.
  • Resolving incidents and service requests, primarily related to macOS and Linux Ubuntu.
  • Promptly assisting employees in troubleshooting, identifying, localizing, and resolving errors.
  • Organizing workspaces for new employees, including preparing equipment and granting access.
  • Maintaining office equipment such as meeting rooms and printers.
  • Maintaining server equipment, including mounting servers in racks.
  • Interacting with suppliers and service departments.
  • Keeping records of equipment in the database, receiving and transporting equipment within the office.
  • Creating user and colleague instructions, and keeping the knowledge base up to date.
  • Assisting in equipment procurement.
  • Resolving complex issues and problems, coordinating work, and collaborating with other IT department departments.

What we hope to see in you:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar position.
  • Experience in supporting users on macOS and Linux Ubuntu.
  • Experience with ticket systems (e.g., YouTrack, Yandex Tracker).
  • Familiarity with SaaS solutions such as Slack, Notion, and Google Workspace.
  • Understanding of local network principles and experience with Ubiquiti network equipment.
  • Knowledge of macOS and Linux Ubuntu, including installation, configuration, recovery, and network service and access rights management.
  • English proficiency at or above the Upper Intermediate level.
  • Google Workspace administration knowledge.
  • Certifications or courses on macOS and Linux (e.g., CCNA, RHCSA).
  • Experience with infrastructure monitoring and management tools.
  • Experience with server equipment and rack installation of server equipment in racks.
