We are searching for the Quality Manager (QA/QC) - Uzbekistan.
The project is in renewable energy sector.
Quality Manager (QA/QC) has to organize and manage all quality related issues in one or more projects. To handle Inspection, testing and calibration control and measurement. Quality assurance from procurement through commissioning and start up including FLAWLESS initiatives throughout Project Management Life cycle.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop Project specific Quality manual, QA Plans and Procedures, WPS, WPQ, WPQR, WPR, Mix design review & approval, inspection and test plan, inspection schedules, field quality plans, and SAT Procedures according to the international standards, customer specifications and the local Statutory & Regulatory requirements.
- Prepare/review Method statements and get required approvals from PM/CE.
- Review supplier manufacturing quality plan, co-ordinate for inspection at supplier end, review and approve supplier inspection / third party inspection report and submit to client for approval.
- Provide process/product related inputs /periodical reports to client as and when required.
- Plan Quality orientation/training programs for workmen, staff, sub-contractor. - Identify testing laboratory and obtain approval.
- Organize weekly / monthly project Quality review meetings with project team.
- Ensure the availability of latest specifications and relevant standards/codes of practice.
- Set up and monitor QA/QC procedures at project site, in line with appropriate guidelines, law of the land, company policy and client requirements.
- Coordinate with site team, subcontractors, and appropriate stakeholders to implement and monitor project specific PQP/QMS plan at site.
- Materials: Identify, calibrate, review and maintain list of testing and measuring equipment. Inspect & test incoming materials, activities / workmanship as per ITP and obtain approval from Sensitivity: LNT Construction Internal Use customer representative as required and maintain records with identification & traceability.
- Coordinate with approved lab for conducting various tests of material/ activity. Obtain test reports and review the results as per project requirements.
- Ensure proper interaction and co-ordination with Client, Site Laboratory and Site Team for project co-ordination.
- Implement orientation/training programs relating to Quality for new joiners as well as existing workmen, staff, sub-contractor as and when required.
- Arrange periodic Quality audits (performance, compliance, and conformity) and workplace inspections by internal and external auditors, that are in line with agreed standards and codes, and address non-conformities immediately.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Civil Engineering
- Certifications for relevant associations/institutes/accreditation bodies in Quality Management and Assurance.
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in managing Integrate Solar Power Sensitivity: LNT Construction Internal Use Projects including BESS Projects
- Substation Projects
- TL Projects (as relevant)
- Prior experience of working in CIS countries preferable.
- Experience in leading multicultural teams preferab
