iTechart, a leading custom software development company, is looking for a Senior copywriter to join our marketing department.
Overview
As our IT copywriting expert, you’ll spearhead scaling our UK content and microsite initiatives, supporting our global website team when needed. This is your chance to transform a strategic resource into a lead-generation engine, driving business growth and making a tangible impact.
You’ll lead multiple blog and website projects, playing a key role in high-visibility brand and marketing initiatives. Collaborating with teams across time zones, you’ll align our UK content strategy with broader marketing objectives under the guidance of our Director of Content.
This role blends strategic vision, creative freedom, and a metrics-driven focus, giving you the opportunity to elevate your career and leave a lasting mark on our digital efforts.
Key responsibilities:
- create engaging and informative blog articles, service pages, and in-depth case studies;
- collaborate with in-house subject matter experts and conduct independent research to enrich and validate content;
- develop content based on briefs primarily from SEO and Brand Strategy teams;
- partner with the UK team to ensure content aligns with market and buyer persona specifics;
- support the creation of compelling content for ads and email campaigns;
- take an active role in initiatives and tasks that originate from the content team (white papers, guides, etc.);
- collaborate with the design team to create visually engaging layouts that effectively convey content ideas;
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in copywriting, preferably in tech;
- proficiency in English (C1 level or above) with a strong command of grammar and broad British English vocabulary;
- familiarity with B2B marketing and the IT sector (a background in IT or other hightech industries is a plus);
- ability to convey complex ideas through clear, fact-based, and engaging text that builds trust and sparks curiosity;
- proven expertise in crafting precise and compelling technical content;
- demonstrated ability to take full ownership of projects, leveraging a data-driven mindset to refine strategies based on performance insights and metrics;
- solid understanding of SEO principles and what it takes to create content that ranks highly;
- experience interviewing subject-matter experts and incorporating their insights into content.
