Our client - Guangzhou Lichen Logistics Co., Ltd., one of the largest Chinese agencies for cargo transportation, warehouse management, cargo handling, import and export of cargo. In Russia Lichen Logistics will be focused on transportation of automobiles on big tracks from car producers to car dealers and other clients. Our client has an opening for Logistics Manager/Transport Manager mainly responsible for transport logistics.
Key position targets:
Logistics and transport operations:
- track activities of all shipments with final destination Russia and other CIS countries
- ensure vehicle capacity to complete shipments
- report on the shipping activity results
- interface with Commercial department in the transportation quotation process
Other activities:
- choose broker, insurance company, medical checks company and other relevant service providers based on company necessities
- manage Track Drivers hiring process
- manage Drivers
- monitor and optimize costs
- approve carrier’s invoices and debit/credit notes instructions
Requirements:
- relevant experience in transport logistics within logistics or big production company
- fluent English oral and written communication skills
- excellent managerial and decision making skills
