Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed BOQs, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, budgets, and project schedules, including conducting market price research at both investment and project levels.
- Assist in developing and maintaining databases and procedures for budget and schedule calculations.
- Keep accurate records of project quantities, cost variations, and financial data.
- Track project performance indicators, including earned value metrics, to identify trends, deviations, and risks.
- Compile and present weekly and monthly performance and development reports for investments and projects.
- Support the creation of financial models, calculations, and strategic plans for business growth.
- Review and validate shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, and as-built documentation to ensure compliance with contracts and specifications.
- Assess schedule and cost impacts of project variations to facilitate effective change management.
- Develop, update, and monitor project schedules to ensure alignment with project objectives and deadlines.
- Handle claim preparation, evaluate variation orders, and assess subcontractor interim payment certificates, bids, and proposals.
- Assist in preparing trade packages for procurement in ongoing projects.
- Contribute to tendering, procurement, and feasibility studies for both current and potential projects.
- Support the contract awarding process for contractors and subcontractors.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of an efficient document control system.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of experience in technical office operations, project controls, planning, or cost management within the construction or real estate industry (preferably in residential or commercial projects).
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, industry standards, project workflows, procurement, cost control, planning, and technical documentation.
- Proficiency in standard measurement techniques for civil and architectural works.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, specifications, and project drawings.
- Knowledge of construction standards and codes (e.g., CSI, FIDIC, and local regulations).
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and technical documentation.
- General understanding of cost optimization strategies.
- Fluency in English and Russian (both written and verbal).
- Proven experience in technical office operations and project controls for mid-to-large-scale projects.
- Willingness to travel for short-term domestic and international business trips.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders in both remote and hybrid work environments.
