Head of Dealing

Our client, an international company located in Limassol, Cyprus, is looking for the Head of Dealing.

This role is central to ensuring seamless trade execution, optimizing system performance, and managing risk effectively. Overseeing the Dealing Team, the Head of Dealing will drive the enhancement of the company’s proprietary trading platform, which supports a broad spectrum of trading instruments, including CFDs, options, and other derivatives. By collaborating closely with IT, quantitative analytics, and back-office teams, the department continuously improves system capabilities, automates key processes, and implements advanced monitoring solutions. Additionally, the team plays a crucial role in providing market insights and trading expertise, contributing to strategic decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement KPIs to measure and enhance the performance of the dealing desk team.
• Guide and support team members in their professional growth, empowering them to make informed and effective decisions.
• Streamline workflows by minimizing manual operations through automation and prioritizing high-value tasks.
• Assist other business areas as needed, addressing cross-departmental requests.
• Escalate complex cases to management and appropriate teams as needed.
• Oversee trading operations to ensure compliance, efficiency, and seamless execution.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial dealing role within the Forex/Crypto/Fintech industry.
• A degree in Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Fluency in Russian and English is essential.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong proficiency in trading platforms and other execution systems.
• Solid knowledge of financial markets, including CFDs, futures, options and forex.
• Analytical skills, with experience in Python and SQL being an advantage.
