Responsibilities:
- Owning the end-to-end UX/UI design process from initial research to final implementation;
- Balancing aesthetics with mobile-specific usability across both iOS and Android;
- Creating and maintaining a consistent and cohesive design system across the mobile app;
- Working closely with the Product Manager and the development team to align design goals with business and technical requirements;
- Conducting user research, competitive analysis, and usability studies;
- Developing personas, journey maps, and scenarios based on insights from user behavior;
- Creating low-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI mockups using Figma to demonstrate key user flows;
- Staying updated on UX/UI trends, competing apps, and industry best practices to keep our design fresh and ahead of the curve.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in UX and UI design, with a focus on mobile applications, preferably social networking, messaging, or geolocation-based apps;
- Fluency with tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch or similar;
- Expertise in mobile-first design principles and best practices for iOS and Android platforms;
- Experience in creating interactive prototypes and wireframes;
- Solid knowledge of user research methodologies and usability testing;
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present designs and ideas to stakeholders;
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment of an early-stage startup;
- A portfolio showcasing specific work samples, case studies, and results is preferred;
- Ability to work collaboratively with developers and understand basic frontend development concepts (React Native, Flutter, KMP, etc.) is a plus;
- Experience creating design systems for mobile applications from scratch would be an advantage;
- Upper-intermediate English proficiency for editing materials and documenting processes.
