We are seeking a skilled and experienced Infrastucture Engineer to join our PaaS team. Our team is responsible for provisioning and supporting an internal platform that orchestrates and manages containerized applications within the on-premise corporate private cloud. The platform is built on OKD - community version of Red Hat OpenShift Containers Platform over OpenStack clouds, ensuring the smooth operation, scalability, and security of applications in a controlled environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of platform clusters;
- Managing the lifecycle of the platform, including support and troubleshooting of platform changes;
- Developing automation solutions to streamline platform operations;
- Ensuring platform security by implementing best practices and security measures;
- Setting up and managing centralized logging and log delivery systems;
- Monitoring and enhancing observability for platform components;
- Managing traffic flow, including ingress and egress configurations;
- Integrating and provisioning storage solutions to support platform needs.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Red Hat OpenShift/OKD or similar Kubernetes-based platforms;
- Proven expertise in cluster management, automation, and infrastructure as code (IaC);
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and storage systems in a cloud environment;
- Proficiency with centralized logging, monitoring, and observability tools;
- Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and ensure high availability;
- Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash; familiarity with Go is a plus;
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
