Junior Monitoring Specialist

We are looking for a junior monitoring specialist to join our team, who will be responsible for configuring
monitoring tools, as well as ensuring the uninterrupted operation and quality of our services. They will also
ensure compliance with and adherence to SRE processes within the product support department.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Maintaining documentation within the area of responsibility:
  o Participation in writing Action Plans (checklists and sets of actions for specific
  application alerts)
  o Reports related to monitoring
  o Documentation of own tools and workflows for using them
  o Documentation of own processes
  o Documentation of own standards
• Managing tickets in Jira
• Creating panels/dashboards in Grafana
• Managing alerting rules in VictoriaMetrics/Prometheus/Alert Manager/Grafana
• Monitoring the performance of infrastructure and services.

What You’ll Bring

• Prometheus/Alert Manager
  operation/administration
• Grafana operator/administrator level
• Experience working with Linux CLI
• Experience configuring exporters (node,
  blackbox, kafka, or any other)
• Understanding of client-server application
  architecture
• Experience with Git
• Ability to write documentation
• Ability to write scripts or applications
  (Python/GoLang/Bash or any other)
• English level (Intermediate and higher)
