We are assembling our founding product team, and are looking for a Mobile Frontend Engineer who’s ready to take full ownership of our mobile application — from architecture to performance.

Responsibilities:

Build the frontend of our mobile app both for iOS and Android using React Native (or Kotlin Multiplatform if preferred).

Work in close collaboration with the Product Manager and Designer to bring the product vision to life.

Translate UX/UI designs into smooth, responsive, and pixel-perfect mobile interfaces.

Collaborate with the backend team to integrate APIs and real-time data (WebSockets, location updates, etc.).

Ensure cross-platform (iOS & Android) compatibility and adherence to platform-specific guidelines.

Optimize app performance, animations and battery usage.

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.

Provide technical leadership and scale the frontend team over time.
Requirements:

5+ years of experience in mobile development, with at least 2 years using React Native or Kotlin Multiplatform.

Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, or Kotlin.

Solid understanding of mobile app architecture, UX/UI principles and performance optimization.

Experience integrating REST APIs, WebSockets, and real-time data handling.

Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX, or equivalent).

Comfortable working in an early-stage startup environment with a proactive and collaborative mindset.

Bonus points for experience working on messenger / social media apps and integrating geo-location services.

Experience in managing frontend development teams is preferred.

Upper intermediate level of English, knowledge of Russian will be an advantage.
