We are looking for a Digital E-commerce Manager to lead and grow our online business across our branded website, the Amazon marketplace, and our social media channels. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of managing both internal teams and external contractors to achieve sales and profitability goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our company website (based on Shopify), the Amazon Seller Central account, and all social media platforms.
- Strategy and Growth: Develop and execute comprehensive e-commerce strategies to drive sales and market share on both our website and Amazon. This involves analyzing performance data, identifying new growth opportunities, and staying ahead of industry trends.
- Social Media Management: Formulate and implement a social media strategy to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, generate traffic and sales, and manage content creation.
- Contractor and Vendor Management: Manage and supervise relationships with external contractors and agencies for key functions such as digital marketing (SEO/PPC) and web development. You'll be responsible for defining project scope, negotiating contracts, and ensuring deliverables meet our standards and budget.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) like sales, conversion rates, and advertising ROI. Use data from platforms like Google Analytics, Amazon Seller Central, and social media analytics to make informed decisions and optimize strategies.
Skills
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in e-commerce, with significant experience managing a brand's presence on Amazon. Prior experience in managing social media for a brand and directing contractors or agencies is required.
- Technical Skills: Deep familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify) and a high level of proficiency with Amazon Seller Central and Amazon Advertising. Strong knowledge of social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Business Suite).
- Analytical Skills: Excellent data analysis skills with a strong understanding of web analytics and platform-specific reports.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills. The ability to effectively brief, supervise, and hold contractors accountable for their work.
