As the Team Leader of a Golang development team, you will play a key role in both hands-on development and team leadership.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, support, and develop a team of Go engineers, including task planning, prioritization, and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
- Mentor and coach team members, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Drive technical recruitment by conducting interviews and helping to grow the team.
- Facilitate effective communication within the team and across departments, ensuring smooth collaboration in English.
- Track and analyze key team performance metrics (lead time, cycle time, sprint predictability) to identify bottlenecks and improve efficiency.
- Technical Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable microservices and REST APIs, ensuring seamless integration with other company products.
- Drive architectural discussions and make high-level technical decisions that guide the team.
- Ensure system reliability by proactively identifying risks and addressing potential points of failure.
- Monitor and manage technical debt, ensuring long-term codebase health.
- Process & Quality
- Support and improve CI/CD processes and internal development practices to streamline delivery.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests, and ensure technical and product documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Promote continuous improvement workflows, tooling, and delivery processes to maximize development velocity.
Required skills:
- at least 3 years of commercial development experience in Go;
- experience working with Kafka or other message brokers;
- experience working on highload projects;
- English is at least B2 level.
