Now we are looking for Internal Communications Specialist
Essential Job Functions
- Counsel country leadership team on communications opportunities (primarily internal) and execute initiatives as aligned
- Produce internal communications content, which may include leadership communications, intranet feature articles, video content, digital signage, and internal communications training sessions
- Organize internal events for Alcon in Action (NSM, Alcon’s global day of volunteering, World Sight Day and etc.)
- Manage intranet site and when needed, external website updates
- Develop content (primarily non-promotional) for local, Alcon-owned social media channels (e.g., Moiglaza)
- Manage reactive media inquiries, in partnership with local leadership and the Head of International Communications
- Manage local issues / crisis, with oversight from local leadership and the Head of International Communications
Critical competencies
- Strategic thinking – must be able to think strategically, understanding broader goals and objectives of Alcon Russia (and Alcon, globally), and aligning communications initiatives and counsel accordingly
- Writing – adept at writing for a business audience, localizing corporate-level content without losing intent, capturing audience attention, tailoring approach and messaging by audience
- Stakeholder management – ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders, including employees and senior executives
- Project management – plan, execute, and monitor communications projects with minimal oversight, ensuring initiatives meet key performance indicators / stakeholder expectations, and are delivered on time and within budget
- Collaboration – skilled at working effectively across functions and cultures
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in communications/public relations; agency experience desirable
- Russian and English language proficiency required
- Communication, presentation skills and leadership skills
