Required Skills and Qualifications:

Higher education in accounting, finance, or a related field.

5 years of experience in accounting (not the position of Chief Accountant)

Proficiency in 1C accounting software.

Fluent in English

In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices (RAS and IFRS).

Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Reports to the Chief Accountant
Preferred Qualifications:

CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certifications.

Knowledge of advanced Excel functions (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).

Experience in financial analysis and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Accounting and bookkeeping: Recording journal entries and reconciling accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Accounts payable and receivable: Processing invoices, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, reconciling intercompany balances, and resolving discrepancies.

Financial reporting: Preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (RAS and IFRS).

Tax reporting: Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulatory requirements.

Budgeting and forecasting: Collaborating with departments to prepare and monitor budgets, and providing financial insights to support business decision-making.

Audit support: Assisting with internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations as requested.

Regulatory compliance: Monitoring changes in accounting regulations and tax legislation to ensure ongoing compliance.
