Head of Sales
We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Head of Sales to take ownership of, build, and scale our entire merchant acquisition function. This role is both highly strategic and hands-on: you will lead the sales team, personally drive the acquisition of high-value merchants, and develop repeatable, scalable sales processes for our crypto payment products.
We are looking for a leader who can effectively manage the full merchant acquisition cycle, mentor and coach the team, continuously optimize the sales funnel, and serve as a key driver of commercial growth. What You’ll Do:
Drive the full merchant acquisition cycle (outbound, inbound, partnerships), focusing on crypto-friendly industries and high-potential segments.
Personally identify, pursue, and close deals with strategic and high-value merchants.
Sell crypto payment products to merchants, clearly explaining settlement flows, on/off-ramp mechanics, transaction fees, technical integration, and regulatory aspects (risk & compliance, KYB, AML, fraud prevention).
Sell solutions related to crypto-to-fiat conversion, clearly communicating the value proposition to merchants.
Work closely with product and tech teams to ensure smooth onboarding, fast integration, and continuous product improvements based on merchant feedback.
Build a predictable sales engine with clear qualification criteria, structured pipeline stages, and conversion optimization.
Develop and optimize structured sales processes, including lead qualification, pipeline management, and scalable inbound and outbound strategies.
Oversee the end-to-end sales cycle, from discovery and product demo to technical evaluation, legal review, integration, and go-live.
Configure and manage CRM, maintain accurate data, and track pipeline and conversion metrics.
Prepare reports, analyze conversion and performance, and provide actionable insights.
Set up repeatable, scalable sales operations to achieve predictable growth.
Mentor and coach sales team members, define KPIs, and track performance.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience selling merchant payment solutions (PSPs, gateways, acquiring, crypto processors).
Ability to explain complex payment flows in simple business language.
Hands-on outbound experience: cold outreach, LinkedIn-based prospecting, and personalized sales sequences.
Familiarity with CRM management, lead scoring, and data-driven sales operations.
Strong understanding of crypto payments, settlement flows, on/off-ramp mechanics, and regulatory requirements.
Proven ability to drive merchant acquisition and scale sales processes.
Excellent English communication skills for negotiations, presentations, and written correspondence.
