Key Responsibilities
Technology Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute the hotel’s IT strategy in alignment with Marriott International standards and business objectives
- Act as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on technology innovation and digital transformation
- Identify opportunities to enhance guest satisfaction through technology solutions
IT Operations Management
- Oversee daily IT operations, including networks, servers, PMS, POS, and telecommunications systems
- Ensure maximum uptime, performance, and reliability of all systems
- Manage IT vendors, contracts, and service-level agreements
Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity frameworks and data protection policies
- Ensure compliance with Marriott IT standards, GDPR (where applicable), and local regulations
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits
Guest Technology Experience
- Ensure high-quality guest-facing technologies including Wi-Fi, in-room entertainment, and mobile services
- Monitor and continuously improve digital guest touchpoints
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and service excellence
- Manage staffing, training, and performance evaluations
Project Management
- Lead IT projects such as system upgrades, new implementations, and property renovations
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget
Budget & Financial Management
- Develop and manage the IT budget
- Optimize costs while maintaining high service standards
