The Company is seeking a Deputy Chief Business Development, reporting directly to the Chief Business Development Officer, to expand its international partner network and strengthen the business infrastructure supporting the Company’s growth. The role will involve close collaboration with the Sales, Investment and Product teams to drive client acquisition and increase assets under management.
This is a hands-on, execution-oriented position combining business development, market development and product-related responsibilities rather than focusing solely on direct sales.

Key Responsibilities:
Partnership & Infrastructure Development

  • Develop and expand the Company’s international partner ecosystem, including relationships with banks, custodians and other relevant counterparties across target markets.
  • Build and enhance the infrastructure required to support client acquisition and the growth of the Company’s assets under management (“book”).
  • Explore and establish new business development channels, beyond direct sales, capable of generating a consistent and high-quality pipeline for the Sales team.

Product Development & Market Positioning

  • Maintain a strong understanding of the market by monitoring competitors, product developments, market dynamics and changing client needs.
  • Contribute to the development of new products by turning initial concepts into structured and commercially viable business cases through analysis and financial modelling.
  • Work closely with the Investment and Product teams to further develop the Company’s existing offering, including discretionary portfolio management, money market solutions and alternative investments such as private equity, structured products and private credit.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Investment teams to translate market intelligence and product insights into tangible commercial outcomes.
  • Work with senior leadership to develop and implement go-to-market strategies for new products and target markets.

Requirements:

  • Senior professional with significant hands-on experience in international wealth management, investment banking or a related financial services environment.
  • Strong international exposure and a solid understanding of global financial markets; familiarity with CIS markets would be highly relevant. Experience with a leading international bank or investment/wealth management firm would be an advantage.
  • Combination of business development and product-related experience; a background in product management, investment banking or CIB would be particularly valuable.
  • Strong knowledge of investment products, including discretionary portfolio management, money market instruments and alternative investments such as private equity, structured products and private credit.
  • Proven ability to assess, structure and financially model new product or business concepts, with a strong focus on execution and implementation.
  • Established network of relevant counterparties, financial institutions or business partners in target markets would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of the Armenian market and/or an established regional network would be considered a plus.

Languages: fluent English and Russian required.
