Main responsibilities:
- Main focus is automation, orchestration, reporting and scripting (bulk execution, unattended deployment, performance analysis, monitoring, etc.) related to core infrastructure services:
- Wintel systems
- Virtual infrastructure
- Server hardware
- Second-line support of infrastructure services
- Maintenance of documentation and inventory
- Adherence to ITIL key principles and internal procedures: change management, approvals chains, etc.
- Responsibility for high critical environment that must be available 24x7x365
Required experience and knowledge:
- Excellent knowledge and minimum of 5 years' experience with Enterprise IT systems;
- Advanced PowerShell scripting — using vendor supplied modules (for example VMware PowerCLI), ability to understand, extend and refactor existing code. Development of new scripts and modules using REST API calls, regular expressions, working with JSON and XML formats. Integration with databases;
- A degree in technical field and\or equivalent qualifications;
- Understanding fundamentals of the following technologies:
-Microsoft Windows;
-VMware vSphere virtualization platform;
-Microsoft System Center products: SCCM, Orchestrator;
-Server Hardware (HP, Huawei);
-Microsoft Active Directory;
-Microsoft Exchange;
-Terminal and VDI (preferably Citrix XenDesktop) solutions;
-Basic knowledge of routing, switching, link aggregation.
Will be an advantage: - Writing basic SQL queries, understanding complex SQL queries, MS SQL ReportBuilder experience is a plus;
- Python knowledge is a plus;
- Linux experience is a plus;
- Knowledge of non-MS orchestration solutions is a plus.
