Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the financial institution to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in all operational activities.
- Develop and implement operational strategies and processes to support the financial institution's business objectives.
- Collaborate with the executive team to establish and accomplish the financial institution's goals and objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of various departments and make recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Manage the financial institution's budget and ensure cost-effective operations without compromising service quality.
- Lead the development and implementation of new technologies and systems to improve operational efficiency.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the organization.
- Coordinate with the risk management team to identify and mitigate operational risks.
- Oversee customer service operations to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Implement and oversee the business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Maintain effective communication and working relationships with regulatory bodies, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Ensure that the financial institution's facilities and physical infrastructure are maintained to support smooth operations.
- Manage and mentor operational managers and staff to build a strong and effective team.
- Oversee human resources functions, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to keep the financial institution's competitive and innovative.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior operational role within the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of banking operations, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership, management, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data and develop strategic plans.
- Proficiency in using banking software and other relevant technologies.
- High level of integrity and ethical standards.
- Advanced proficiency in English will be considered an advantage.
