Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the financial institution to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in all operational activities.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies and processes to support the financial institution's business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to establish and accomplish the financial institution's goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of various departments and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage the financial institution's budget and ensure cost-effective operations without compromising service quality.
  • Lead the development and implementation of new technologies and systems to improve operational efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the organization.
  • Coordinate with the risk management team to identify and mitigate operational risks.
  • Oversee customer service operations to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Implement and oversee the business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
  • Maintain effective communication and working relationships with regulatory bodies, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Ensure that the financial institution's facilities and physical infrastructure are maintained to support smooth operations.
  • Manage and mentor operational managers and staff to build a strong and effective team.
  • Oversee human resources functions, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to keep the financial institution's competitive and innovative.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior operational role within the banking or financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of banking operations, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, management, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop strategic plans.
  • Proficiency in using banking software and other relevant technologies.
  • High level of integrity and ethical standards.
  • Advanced proficiency in English will be considered an advantage.
