Responsibilities:

• Realisation of oral translation from English into Russian and from Russian into English simultaneously with or without special equipment for simultaneous translation of the Director of School and authorised School representatives based on the Director’s discretion;
• Collecting, study and systematisation of information about the upcoming events to prepare for translation in accordance with the topic of the meeting;
• The implementation of consecutive translation, ensuring the exact correspondence of the translation meet requirements for the lexical, stylistic and semantic content of the translated texts, with established scientific, technical, other terms and definitions;
• Conversational translation of the speech of the Director of School, including, but not limited to: internal meetings, business meetings, negotiations, speeches;
• Participation in the preparation of reports on the events held (meetings, negotiations, etc.) and the preparation of the established documentation;
• Systematisation of information materials about the translations and the work done;
• Performing both oral and written including abbreviated translations

Requirements:

• MUST be fluent in English, especially in Business English;
• Excellent diction;
• Willingness to travel;
• Knowledge of the basis of general theory and practice of simultaneous translation. Ability to use special equipment for simultaneous translation;
• Professional ethics, possession of international culture;
• Knowledge of the basis of business communication and the rules of etiquette adopted in native and foreign cultures;
• Compliance with the rules and protocols of conferences, meetings;
• Possession of terminology on the subject of translated texts in Russian, English and other foreign languages;
• Possession of vocabulary, grammar and style of Russian, English and other foreign languages;
• Knowledge or previous experience in an educational field will be a plus
