Four Seasons Hotel Moscow is looking for a talented and competent Spa Manager to join, lead, and assist in managing the Spa team.

Responsibilities:

  • The Spa Manager will mainly ensure the smooth daily operation of the Spa Department through leadership and management of the Spa team;
  • To work alongside supervisor in the Spa to ensure that all Spa employees are adhering to all Four Seasons standards and objectives for the Spa department;
  • To manage the reception team to ensure a seamless operation and to ensure that financial controls, including the auditing of all financial transactions are in place and adhered to;
  • To manage the cleaning team to ensure smooth operation and guarantee all spa areas are kept in good order and in a hygienic condition;
  • To work closely with engineering team, and assist to the successful operation of Spa facilities;
  • To ensure that the guest experience is an exception one that maintains the performance benchmarks of Forbes, LQA and other monitoring bodies;
  • To assist with the creation and achievement of marketing and achievement objectives, through training and coaching the team, to ensure the financial success of the Spa department;
  • To assist in achieving agreed commercial targets at the Spa through the active and appropriate promotion of Spa treatments and products to all Spa guests by all Spa employees;
  • To work together with Director of Spa to oversee all areas of the retail offering in the Spa, including budgeting, stock level control, requisitions, team targets, month end inventory control and reconciliation etc. and ensure a stock level is maintained at all times that is appropriate to the business demands;
  • To assist in preparing annual plans, forecasts and managing expenses to meet departmental budgetary goals;
  • To assist with the control labor and operating expenses through effective planning, budgeting, purchasing decisions, policy making, and inventory control, while focusing on creative cost control and revenue generation solutions to maximize profit in the division and the hotel;
  • To create and run projects in common, for the benefit of Guests and Team members;
  • To monitor performance by doing at least one quality criterion test per day;
  • To ensure internal communication within the spa by posting memos and relaying this information during meetings;
  • To conduct recruitment interviews according to the Four Seasons Quality Criteria and "Behavior Based Interviewing";
  • To provide support for the integration and training of new employees and help them in their tasks;
  • To participate in the development of the team by personalized monitoring of each member of his team and by proposing training actions to improve individual performance;
  • To replace the Director of Spa in case of absence in internal meetings and take over all responsibility for the spa during the spa manager's vacation.

Requirements:

  • English is a must for this position;
  • 3-5 years of experience in premium spa or hotel is required;
  • Bachelor's Degree in hospitality or any relevant studies.
