We are looking for Senior PHP Developer in the one of our internal projects.

This vacancy involves relocation to Serbia.

Responsibilities :

  • Close collaboration with internal stakeholders (managers, optimizers, analysts) and adjacent development teams.
  • Writing clean, scalable, and efficient code in PHP and Go.
  • Driving product tasks from idea to production support.
  • Developing new services, evolving and maintaining existing services in Go, and integrating them with the ERP written in PHP/Symfony.
  • Writing unit tests and participating in integration and system testing to ensure software quality.
  • Improving product observability – writing monitoring systems, alerting, performance analysis, etc.
  • Reviewing and providing feedback on code written by colleagues to ensure consistency, readability, and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of PHP and 5+ years of commercial development experience.
  • Experience working with Symfony.
  • Experience working with Go.
  • If lacking experience with Go, willingness to write code and develop in this direction is essential.
  • Experience working with and optimizing relational databases like Postgres/MySQL.
  • Ability to write pragmatic code, finding a balance between deadlines and quality.
  • Understanding of fundamental computer science principles (algorithms, data structures, basic operating system and networking principles).
  • Understanding of frontend basics and the HTTP stack.
  • Experience working with caching systems (Redis, Memcached) and message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, excellent communication skills.
  • Understanding of principles/experience working with columnar databases (Vertica, ClickHouse) is a plus.
