Job description:
HR Manager is responsible for executing all human resources functions as well as document and other office management functions within the company. This hands-on role requires a strategic but practical thinker with solid operational execution skills to develop and implement HR strategies and processes aligned with our business objectives. HR Manager shall foster a positive employee collaboration culture, ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations, and provide thought leadership as a Team member.
Essential duties & responsibilities:
- Lead and manage company HR activities, including recruitment, performance management, training and development, employee relations, compensation, and benefits.
- Develop and execute HR strategies in alignment with the company’s business plans.
- Execute talent acquisition and selection processes, ensuring the hiring of qualified candidates to meet the company’s needs.
- Develop and implement performance management systems to set goals and drive attainment.
- Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Manage employee relations, resolving conflicts and issues promptly and effectively.
- Administer compensation and benefits in compliance with policies and legal requirements.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Build strong team relationships to foster a positive collaborative environment.
- Maintain an adequate inventory of all office supplies.
- Process incoming and outgoing documents.
- Process and track mail and parcels.
- Arrange and host events and meetings in the office.
- Perform as an executive assistant to the CEO.
- Carry out additional tasks assigned by the CEO.
Education / Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management.
- Five years or greater experience in human resources in IT / Engineering business.
- Proven track record of driving a wide range of HR activities, from day-to-day employee relations issues to strategic initiatives and communication.
- Demonstrated success in leading and/or supporting cultural change in IT / Engineering environment.
- Hands-on experience recruiting and leveraging digital platforms and social media to identify, interview, and onboard new employees successfully.
- Proven track record of cross-functional troubleshooting and problem-solving to optimize processes and ensure employee compliance.
Qualifications/ Knowledge:
- Fluency in English and Russian (native or bilingual).
- Excellent writing and grammar skills.
- Proficient in Word and Excel.
- Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
