Data analyst

Responisibilities:

• Develop regular operational reports on site performance. Produce ad-hoc reports to support management and departmental decision-making.
• Standardize the structure of operational reports.
• Design and update real-time operational dashboards to provide actionable insights into site performance.
• Continuously improve dashboard interfaces and functionality to meet evolving operational needs.
• Provide guidance and support to other sites in implementing standardized reporting and visualization techniques.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive data dictionary for all key data points used in reports and dashboards.
• Document all data acquisition processes, reporting methodologies, and visualization standards to ensure clear guidelines are available for future use.
• Monitor data quality and integrity/
• Work closely with IT and other departments to resolve data-related issues impacting report accuracy.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback on reports and dashboards.
• Provide training and support to end-users on how to interpret reports and use dashboards effectively.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in data analysis, visualization, and report standardization within an operational environment.
• Mining operations and mining reporting experience.
• Good understanding of mining practices and operations. Detailed understanding of load and haul operations.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI and SSRS).
• Strong SQL and data manipulation skills.
• Knowledge of data documentation practices, including data dictionary creation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• English skills - upper-intermediate and higher.
