Team Head of Colour and Material in Footwear Production (Design)

Today we are looking for a Team Head of Colour and Material in Footwear Production department.

What you will do:

• Footwear Design Management. Trend, Colour and Material;

• Define and provide trends and Colour direction relevant to Sportmaster customers and Russian sports market in general over multiple brands;

• Determine and oversee each season’s trend and color direction, project lineup, and assignment of projects to individual designers for the purpose of creating Colour and Material work on collection across multiple brands;

• Organizes and facilitate design Colour meetings with the entire team for the purpose of checking Colour reviews;

• Provides designers insight and seasonal design direction for their specific projects by Category;

• Manages trend research and share with the footwear creative and band management teams;

• Coordinate and drive seasonal alignment with Design partners from Apparel and Equipment teams. Including the definition of the Seasonal Colour palette;

• Improve and make more efficient the Colour and Material process;

• Coordinate seasonal Material briefs and assist material team in sourcing seasonal material palettes;

• Maintains a winning design team by promoting mentorship, respect, and creativity of design staff.

We expect you to have:

• Experience in Colour, Materials and trims work in the area of apparel, footwear or transport design (2 years and above);
• Education: Bachelor or above in Design related field;
• Team leading experience;
• Expert knowledge of design software;
• Creative problem solver;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills;
• Excellent knowledge of Trend, Colour and Trims work;
• Good Leadership, mentoring and Management abilities;
• Able to coordinate and oversee multiple categories and teams;
• Up to date and knowledgeable on the world of fashion, trends and design in general;
• English level: intermediate or above;
• Program ownership: : Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate, PowerPoint.
