Sanctions Compliance Intern

Yandex is offering a unique opportunity for a Sanctions Compliance Intern to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic legal environment. This paid internship provides invaluable insights into sanctions and export control regimes while working alongside experienced professionals in a large, international tech company.

Tasks that await you:

Analysis
You will monitor changes in applicable legislation and conduct KYC and export transactions analysis.

Assistance
You will assist in drafting and reviewing compliance clauses, replies to requests of information, and more. You will also help coordinate efforts across various departments to ensure alignment with compliance policies and procedures.

We expect that you:

• Have a Bachelor’s degree in law
and knowledge of U.S. and EU sanctions and export control regimes
• Possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Are willing to adapt to changing priorities and work under tight deadlines
• Have upper-intermediate English
