Senior Devops Engineer

Spotware Systems is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for the Software Continuous Integration and Delivery. To design and implement tools, pipelines, and workflows which perform software builds, tests, and releases. You will also work with development teams to ensure best practices and standards are met in the areas of Configuration and Release Management.

Location: Limassol, Cyprus (relocation needed)

Communication language within the tech teams: Russian

Responsibilities:

• Automating building/deploying and software configuration/release management related tasks.

• Installing, configuring, administering, and tuning application servers.

• Working with Development, QA and Operations teams to guarantee prompt, accurate, and repeatable delivery of the builds.

• Defining, implementing and championing policies to significantly increase the efficiency of our software development/delivery process.

• Designing and implementing tools to streamline SCM, Integration and QA processes.

• Configuring and maintaining DEV integration, QA, and PERF/load environments.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Ansible.

• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (Gitlab, Jenkins).

• Good knowledge of Python.

• Fluency in some major scripting languages: ex. shell scripts, groovy.

• Configuration and Release Management.

• Strong knowledge of GIT/GitLab flow.

• Experience working with containerized applications and deployment using Kubernetes/Helm/Docker/Docker-Compose.

• Experience with Maven is a plus.
