Primary purpose of the position:
- Product Manager manages OTX and Non-promo OTC portfolio, participates in strategic planning of products in direct responsibility, provides addressable Market and Commercial Expertise in CVP Team.
General duties and responsibilities:
- Takes responsibility for strategy and tactics development:
- Responsible for the strategy, roadmap and features of the product.
- Provides strategic and operational product planning.
- Develops and implement well-reasoned marketing and customer plans in line with SOPs.
- Contributes to business cases development, decisions about product launches and amendments of current products
- Performs products planning and development:

Makes forecasts of sales in value and volume in short – and long term.
- Investigates features of products in responsibility, analyzes customers’ requirements for products based upon market research.
- Works with cross-functional teams to bring a product to market.
- Executes product launches.
- Ensures that the product meets the needs of customers.
- Monitors product performance in line with life cycle and initiates tail-cuts.
- Responsible for financial performance of the product.
- Works closely with other departments within the company to ensure that the customers’ needs are being met and that they are satisfied with the services they are receiving.

Manages portfolio promotion in line with Go2M model:
- Manages projects for promo support of relevant products: prepares project plan and calculations of project profitability.
- Provides necessary knowledge and materials to KAMs, Medical Representatives, Trade-Marketing managers.
- Maintains relationships with existing customers and developing new business opportunities with potential customers.
- Develops cycle materials and educates KAMs and Medical Representatives during Kick-Off Negotiation Campaign meetings and Deployment.
- Leads and participates in development of new commercial tools and services and adaptation of existing ones according to market environment to TA Pharmacy Chains.
- Prepares and approves promotional and information materials for Distributors and Pharmacy Chains.
- Monitors and controls implementation of Marketing & Customers plan initiatives and cycle materials by:
- Regular analysis of reports on activities of medical representatives and KAMs;
- Double details with medical representatives and KAMs with follow-up analysis and reporting.
- Preparation, execution and participation in relevant events for target audiences.
- Works with financial team to set pricing and track revenue in val., vol. and profitability.
- Ensures planning and execution of marketing budget in line with approved plan by size, time and items:
- Forms A&P plan, responsible for optimal costs allocation among activities. Controls expenses in line with plan. Provides reporting according to approved internal procedures.
- Prepares regular reports about actual and planned expenses, accruals in line with approved corporate procedures. Executes and controls documents flow for marketing budget expenses in line with approved corporate procedure.
- Ensures constant monitoring, analysis of addressable markets, products positioning and availability in the addressable market:
- Monitors and facilitates products availability in the warehouses of the branch and distributors, timely informs line manager and stakeholders about situation with products availability.
- Responsible for demand planning ensuring appropriate level of branch warehouse stock and timely requests to production sites in corporate forms and systems in line with approved forecasting procedures.
- Regularly collects and analyzes information about prices, Go2M model, investments of competitive products. Frequency of this analysis and reporting is established by line manager.
- Performs monitoring of addressable markets and market segment using corporate tools, databases and approaches on monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Prepares and provides analytical presentations, reports and relevant documents to line manager; informs medical representatives, KAMs, trade-marketing managers about changes in market conditions. Performs investigation and studying of customers and consumers behaviors on regular basis.
- Initiates market research to identify new business opportunities and ways to improve the company’s products or services.
Job experience and qualification:
- Higher education (University degree in Medicine, Pharmaceutics, Economics, Marketing & PR, others).
- Job experience 3+ years on positions Senior Product Manager, Product Manager in Rx markets. CBG-GGx and GGx expertise is a preference.
- English Language Intermediate +.
- Product Manager should know: theory of Rx, OTC and generics marketing in pharmaceutical industry; business etiquette; Windows OS; foundations of project management.
